Played a few mmo's (daoc, guild wars, wow, warhammer, lotro, vanguard)and had fun with most of them.
Also tried out some other trials and f2p like ryzom, dcuniverse, eqII and championsonline).

"...Glitches, bugs, and broken mechanics mired the experience..."
Thanks to the undying love of a few the game will probably live forever.
But the continued glitches, bugs and broken mechanics still make it the worst mmo experience I've ever had.
I played WoW for a long time and enjoyed it. But then, I enjoy most of the mmo's I've played.
It's well written. There's tons on content. A bit of everything and I think it always helps to have servers full of people.

Vanguard is my favorite MMO of all time. The fact that it is F2P is a great thing, because now there is once again a population, and tons of the people who came back to play for free are now mothly subscribers... Nail …
Vanguard won worst game of the year award when it came out. Hardly anything's been fixed. It's still one of the worst games I've every played with a big empty world which crashes back to the load screen on a regular basis. But if you like spending y…
Having come back and tried out the 'new and improved' VG, I would still label this game as one of the worst games I've ever played. I encountered many of the same crashes and bugs as I did 3 years ago. Then, I would blame my hardware. But in 3 years…
I read other peoples opinion when deciding to try out a new game. So ya, I care.
When something is espicially bad I'll comment here. Not as likely to post when everything is rosey.

Let's hope not too many sign up. The old timers there say the reason 'chunks' crash is because of too many people in one area. Anything over 10 is inviting problems.
Was able to craft this morning for about 45 minutes in Tanvu before the world crashed. World still crashing - log on and it crashes withing minutes. On 4th attempt.

They've had over five years to 'improve' things. How much more time are people meant to give them?
The game was in maintenance-mode for the bulk of that time.

Played for about 20 minutes last night without incedents. This morning I logged back on to attemp to finish this crafting level. I got 1 workorder done before the Tanvu chunk (or is it the whole server?) crashed again.
Crashed again for 2nd time tonight. Was crafting, began to experiance 2 and 3 second delays while crafting. Then the game froze and then sent me to the character screen. Social server was up and down and number of times.
What could you possibly mea…
