Gaming for nearly 25 years now since Atari. MMO's since EQ in 1999. I am looking for a steady group of gamers who want to stick to one good game. Hell, even just 1 other person to duo fun stuff. Send me a message!

Nothing. Looking toward the future: Tree of Savior / Blade and Soul / Wildstar F2P. I am also looking for a steady group of gamers to play with on a regular basis. I enjoy small group content and trying to accomplish things no one else would even dream of doing. Like 2 manning raid bosses (been there, done that.)
Aradune ruleset, you are not supposed to be playing more than 2 characters per person at the same time and only 1 computer per character. Know what would reduce server populations without having to throttle it on their end? Ban the God damn people …
I have plenty of complaints about MMOs, but i'll stick to two.
1) Weapon Swapping for ability usage. One of my biggest gripes are games that involve a weapon swap system. I can't stand it. It's an unnecessary micro management that drives me cra…

Probably I've said it a few times, but my setup is exactly like that, since... I don't know, even in the MUD years I worked in that MO.
Actually one notch "worse" even, I don't have a main game, I have a main games plural
(AoC,…

A mmorpg with good class system, good drop system, etc. will always surprise with decent playerbase.
Despite the weird, clunky movements the game is really awesome.
This shows that game…
I would love to get into ESO, but I can't get over my own hatred for having to swap weapons. Its literally the #1 reason I can't stand ESO or GW2. That little extra micro management drives me nuts.
I don't know what to say any more. My favorite games are always getting shut down. Vanguard, Warhammer, Wildstar, Marvel Heroes, Hellgate London, City of Heroes, hell I even really enjoyed Dragomon Hunter. What is my issue? I always love the games t…

Like most games I have played in the past several years, RaiderZ was only fun when I played with a friend or three. However, most of my RL friends have moved on to things like marriage and children (eww), so I find myself standing alone any more. Ma…
I played SMITE pretty hardcore since beta up until about a year ago. I dabbled with Paragon a few times and was initially really excited, but once you get into the game and realize the route they took to "shake things up", you could probably underst…
Enrage Mechanics. Seriously. Could there be anything lazier? - "We can't think of anything to make this encounter entertaining, so we put in an enrage mechanic."
I was playing my prot paladin in WOTLK and my entire guild besides a Holy Paladin and myself wiped from the first flame during Heigan the Unclean fire dance event. So we two manned Heigan the Unclean for about an hour and a half. Our guild was bored…

If blizzard saw that a classic server was worth the time and investment, they'd have done it by now. They don't go "ah yeah that classic server would make us millions! But lets not bother making it"...
...no, they more go "w…
SWTOR is definitely #1. I understand these lists are opinion-biased, but still... I could even let SWTOR go to #2 or even #3 if there was a really good stance, but this list is wtf.
I love that they did not put WoW on this list, however, I am curious why Warhammer Online wasn't on there. Easily some of the best sieges and small scale pvp. Oh well.
A game "failing" is subjective with objective influences. I played the hell out of Vanguard, as did many other people. To this day, my favorite healer of all time from any MMO was the Disciple from Vanguard, no other healer even comes close to being…
Because I have no one to play with. I can stomach the horrible, endless questing, and I can even stomach the telegraph spam to where all you do is stare at the ground, but what I can't stomach is playing a game for hours on end by myself.
I understand the list is mostly opinionated, so I can't really say this list is garbage, but I will say that my own list is a bit different. I applaud your reasoning though, well done.
I am a long time veteran MMO gamer, but I have never played FF XIV. It never seemed to entice me. However, with these changes to PvP, I am tempted to give the game a shot. Is it worth getting into as a new player and no friends?
I would have voted for BDO if I didn't hate the combat so much. I guess I just can't handle weird@ss combos with movement keys and clicks and hotkeys all at the same time to do one spell. BDO easily tops my list for most frustrating mmo of all time.…
