I agree - DF is my last hope.. played UO pre-trammel and quit when trammel was introduced.. I then played EQ and had a blast even though it was very different. Then I played DAoC and had a blast as well...but from there it has just been thrash relea…
I think that the percentages distributed between the factions have no correnspondance to the number of available races in the given faction...
People think its cool to be "the lone bad guy" - hence more will become Alfar, etc...
My guesses:
A bad launch will leave DF with 50k-70k subs a year after launch
An ok launch will leave DF with 150k-200k subs a year after launch
A good launch will leave DF with 250k-300k subs a year after launch
