They never changed the casters to combos, but they did balance them. Casters can no longer use stamina potions for example, less CC and so on. (cant rember full change list). Lets just say melee are far more effective against casters now.

Balance is a issue but it depends on what type of player you are, if you prefer PVE then its no issue but if you are hardcore PVP then its more apparent. Even for the middle of the road guys its not that big of a deal and Funcom is working on it. …

The biggest immersion killer is other people, from running around nude and shouting "I PWN NOOBS" or a variety of other stupid things. I find AOC very immersive, if I play alone lol.

I think SW:TOR is the only MMO which really has a shot at becoming a big hit. But who knows, everyone thought either AOC or WAR would become massive but they both faded in comparision with WOW.
