Personally I feel like BDO has the best combat to date of any MMO i've ever played. The rest of the game I hate and can't stand, don't get me wrong. But the combat is glorious. If ESO had BDO's combat, I wouldn't ever play anything else.
My favorite game to this day for "endgame content" has to be DAOC. Every day I logged in was something new and different. I hope to got CU ends up feeling as good as DAOC did.
Gender locked races/classes are commonplace and not a big deal in Japan and Korea. They are even enjoyed a bit. Honestly the dev's don't give a rats ass what the western audience thinks. They will continue to make the game for the East, and port …

Grinding PvE focus points has always been the fastest and easiest way to level. Time to rethink playing these types of games.

I can't speak for everyone that has left GW2, but for myself, I left over the WvW.
As an old DAOC hand, I was extremely excited for GW2's WvW. I'd been really looking for a good alternative to the aging DAOC for some time. For the part of t…

Both games are in pre-alpha
Are you serious?
There is not AoC game yet, that's a pre-rendered demo made with Unreal assets.
When we will see actual in-game footage of AoC we can make comparisons wi…

You just compared a screenshot generator that was used to take your money to an actual MMORPG.
Other than that, yeah... You have to consider a few things. I'm sure the Pantheon team is using metrics to determine the desired scalabi…

Even though I'm not interested in this game, I am saavy enough to recognize that the customer-base it is being marketed to will be just fine with what the current graphics look like. The fact that the majority of the MMO custom …

Neverwinter sucks (because of its EQ/WoW-style endgame grind), but it's still better than any other MMORPG out there right now.

So today presented me with the perfect opportunity to express why I'm so frustrated by the pantheon pledge tiers. Ashes of Creation launched it's pledge today. I've very excited for both pantehon and ashes, but for very different reasons. I want …

OP has the misconception of a lot of people of our veteran status. These crowdfunded games, the pledge tiers are not the same as buying the game at a store or on steam. When you pledge you are basically investing in a game that …
Anyone who enjoys WvW in gw2 seriously needs to try out AvA in ESO. It's everything that GW2 is lacking. Better laid out landmass, better placed objectives, and more open world fighting between objectives. Lets just say, you can't treb one keep f…
I'll be honest, I Can't think of a single one that is released, or in a playable state. Pantheon is what you are looking for, but it's no where near playable atm. The issue is that all games, other than little indie studios, are backed by suits wi…
