Probably, at least if you want to play on high. And, yes, 5830 will be more expensive than 5770. It will provide at least 1k shaders, 256-bit bus and is intended to be a little bit better than the 4890, closing the huge gap between 5770 and 5850.

MMOs aren't that demanding most of the time(AOC being one of the exceptions), but I'd suggest a 5770, or wait for 5830 which should arrive in 2 weeks(should cost around 225 euro).

Hoping for Tera. My soul MMO is still L2, and looking at Tera, it does resemble certain things. I just hope bots won't destroy it. Guild Wars 2 has a good chance as well.
