A 40$ mmo would still be way cheaper compared to other things like for instance a 20$ book that you can finish after 4 or 5 evenings or a cinema ticket. I wouldn't mind paying that much but I don't ever see it happening.

For gaming you simply don't buy a mac. That aside, macbook pro's are their own category of notebooks. Build quality, haptic and battery life are still unbeaten.
