I agree, however, it's not really about other games as much as it is how FFXIV holds peoples attention. People can very easily go back to their previous mmorpg. I for one am very excited and am hoping this to be my mmorpg for the next several year…

The PS3 is the future of FFXIV. It's being made for the PS3 and the PC version is just a test to see how they can improve the PS3 version. I'll be getting it for PC and PS3 but there's no doubt I'll be playing it on the PS3 mainly.
