There is a phobia for almost everything.... seems sorta pointless. How about fear of spiders, snakes, deep water and heights. Or the dreaded fear of the color green, Prasinophobia.

9.0... Nice April fool's.
Obviously the reviewer wrote this article during his "honeymoon phase".
I've played all expansions but WoD and I can safely say this the worste and most boring expansion of all. Even BfA was better and that's sayi…
Newer generations of gamers need instant gratification. Old school MMOs are about working long and hard on objectives and earning that gratifying feeling at the end of it all.
If old school MMOs aren't popular with younger crowds today it's because…
If WoW2 is anything like BfA, no thanks.
ActiBlizz isn't pre 2008 Blizz, if they did another MMO it would surely suck.
At this point the only hope I have of ever playing a good new AAA MMO comes from Amazon, certainly not Blizzard.
SWG was good fun, I loved the city building, the crafting, the entertainer buffs etc. Many things about it were terrible though. I stopped playing it when WoW came out. WoW felt very shallow in comparison but at least it was polished.
If MMOs were still alive today they'd be taken over and killed off by SJWs like they're doing to comics and film. I'm glad we were spared the spectacle.
It's sad MMOs have passed on but at least it was a natural and honorable death.

Lets see if this will grow.
Attention to detail is quite a big deal when working on an ambitious project so I'd say these guys are off to a bad star.

No we don't need a new SW game. It's a dying franchise now that Disney …
They need to diversify if they want to expand their business. Sticking to MMORPGs would end up limiting revenue.
I would say this is normal business practice except I notice they tend to ignore many low pop MMORPGs in favour of more popular non MMOR…
There's something fundamentally incoherent about story driven questing in MMOs.
IE: A quest asks you to complete a task, say kill a baddie, you do said task, the baddie dies, that particular story should end there. But no, in an MMO the baddie is …

Because the core concept of the sandbox is freedom. Freedom to specialize how you want (combat, crafting, trading etc), freedom to advance how you want (non linear progression path) and ultimately, freedom to engage combat with who y…

Blizzard wanting to "work with the community"..ROFL! What a load of bollocks. It's just a lame justification for announcing the project way too early at an otherwise completely dull and uneventful Blizzcon. You people are so gullible...

I think the spec requirements of pantheon will have a huge effect on its popularity (as with any game). People underestimate how important it is for a game to be playable on low end PCs for it to be very popular. If pantheon requires a NASA computer…
Because of the free to play model. Today bad games can still make a profit if they manage to get a handful of whales addicted so nobody bothers to invest the time and money needed to make a great MMO any more. Result is we have 100s of MMOs out but …
