I find Conan to have plenty of freedom, BUT, I do not think it is sandbox and I ask that you do not expect that when going in. Otherwise you will be just as blind as the many others who bash Conan.

I head about how everyone in DF was basically a carbon-copy of one another skill-wise. At least with classes I'm not like everyone else.

The only MMO I've ever seen without levels, period, was Face Of Mankind. I enjoyed it, yes, but it also had little depth and content besides shooting people, crafting, breaking the law and hacking. I really did enjoy freaking out the LED though …
