Refresh tool in win10 is actually very useful. Refresh and keep my files, no point in trying every fix on the internets... soft reset of the OS should solve almost everything.

Not too sure about auto pathing with this questing being so... hard to follow. Has left me feeling completely not immersed, and with no understanding the games items/systems. I like the play of the game, but it isn't drawing me in at all right now.

You are correct, this is related to your soundcard drivers. Try going into device manager and updating the sound driver, or uninstalling it. You weren't entirely clear on the path that brought you here, or the parts concerned. But, fixing the driver…

Aion, since 2010 or so. I would like to say Eve, but honestly it isn't a game you can drop and come back to.. at least in my opinion. Aion gets me with each expansion though.

VRM has been a looming issue for a while now.. one of the biggest heat generators with the least thought out cooling solutions.

I will go with Tera, Dungeon crawler with action combat.. gear dependent, but still allows for some ability of the player to show. For PvP Aion, something about the atmosphere and zones seems to make it make sense.. and have purpose.
