I'm not amazed I started right up and already there is a bug. The plus sign won't let me zoom in to see my adjustments. I figured it would be at least in the game world where I'd find it.

Make sure your drivers and more importantly your BIOS is too. I had a similar problem years ago with an ibis oft FPS. After updating it went away. Now I always make sure I'm up to date before starting up something new.
