Man this boy needs to learn to freaking relax. Just deleted a thread of mine and PMing me that its not current gameplay discussion.

I stated in my thread that since the developers have been talking about creature harvesting, camps, and even "brainstorming" beast mastery and genetic engineer..... that they need to just add an outdoorsman profession. And GarVa tells me its not current game play discussion. Does this guy even know what is going on in this game?

So I told him it was current gameplay discussion and that if the developers would stop sticking their fingers in the ears, closing their eyes, and shouting "NAH NAH I CANT HEAR YOU!" that they might actually find things that could bring back lost subs. I for one would return if they just made an outdoorsman profession.

How in the hell are they supposed to know what people want now and still want if they keep deleting the threads that tell them so? I swear in a few months we will read a post from Helios saying "Well no one has posted a request for a return of the Ranger profession so obviously no one wants one." Real damn convenient for SOE wouldnt you say?

I followed that with a quote from Real Genius "There are alot of decaffinated brands on the market just as tasty as the real thing."

PS GarVA if you read this yes I am calling you out. I freaking dare you to come here to a forum you have no control and have an open discussion about this. I know you wont because you dont have the almighty ban stick but the gauntlet is thrown down anyway......

Garva is a control freak... It can be seen in how he responds to people in his posts... My guess is he is also a yes man. He does not like to be questioned nor called out.

His attitude goes hand in hand with whats left of the community over there.... The its my toy and no you cant play with it attitude.

Let him do his thing... Eventually to tools up high will realize they screwed up, and those people will need scapegoats... Its only a matter of time.

And yes, I am saying Garva is as useful as tits on a borehog. Same goes for Virraggo.

Speaking as one of thier fan bois gone rouge -- I admit.   I can tell you that unless they control the convoersation they will not debate anything.

This is like asking them: 

Hey how the NGE work out for subs?

How well is it doing lol?

Why did your boss tell me it was a mistake and why do you continue to tell us it is working out?

Why when people tell you countless times what they want, you think you know better yet have failed 3 times now?

Why is this considered the biggest MMO blunder in MMO history?

How many people left due to this choice in game core change?

At this point they will buckle and pretty much have nothing but air to reply with.

Bottom line is that the sinking ship at this point has no excuse... it is damage control right now and they will almost give anything back to hold onto who is left.

 What freaked me out is when I attempted to log in on 1/9/05 and find that all of my ingame accounts were banned and for what ? Forum misuse (trollling flaming roleplaying) . SOE is the only MMO company that game bans for this reason.

 The MODS are overpowered and the sick bastards that they are ,are proud to weild their banning powers. With Vets going off on the NGE  SWG MODS have had their work cut out for them the same way they use to cut out paper dresses for their sisters paper dollies.

it's funny too, in SWG:C the forums were some of the best in any game anywhere. there were actually brilliant ideas going around, not just "i killed you with my rogue and got your honor! lol!" like you see alot on the WoW forums. (WoW is an alright game, but their forums depress me...)

there were even intelligent political discussion in the off-topic forums, brilliant class improvement menuveurs (different designs for artillery for SLs, decay for droids, etc etc) the trade forums were actually very helpful, with 30 or so auctions going on at the same time, + player-made lists (albiet incomplete) of all the malls on each server.

Though the devs didn't really comment as much as they could have, there weren't deleted posts for new ideas, or posts asking to scrap old ones.

also, if i remember correctly, there were class reps which reported to the devs, who actually playedd the games and spoke extremley avidly on the forums, they were always there ready to bounce ideas off of.

what a shame that it's gone to what it is now.

Heh. I got a super long ban after i spammed the suckboards with Milk And Eggs posts. Plus i said that Rogue 5 had best lay off the crack pipe after seeing his e3 video, the infamous "Do you wanna bite an ewok, shoot a wookie" vid. wish i saved the link!

But to stay on topic, yes GarVa is by far the most unreasonable Mod there. He gets ultra-pissed when you point out that he's only a low rent mod, and not a dev. Say, Virrago is like that too come to think of it.

It is not iconic or star warzy for the nge.

Instead we have BeastMastery.  That is star warzy.  If you dont understand the difference go play wow with the millions of other folks or possibly guild wars with those million folks because star warzy galaxies isn't for you.
