Why?
If it were the case that pre-Tram UO was chock full of die-hard full loot PvP fans, they wouldn't have opted for the "easy way out".

Which proves the fact that very little people are intrested in the PVP content. no matter how much you try to go around it, the facts are there. If people would really want open PVP, they would have played in the old lands, simple as that. you saying the only way to see which game was more played by opening a new server is laughable, since people don't want to lose the characters.
Yeah, I'm interested to see what happens with this game. It does sound a little too good to be true but you never know until you actually play it so I'm going to give it a try whenever it does come out.

Accept the facts.
Those are not facts, not one of them! Those are your pitiful carebear opinions - apparently you don't even know what facts are.
Facts:
1. 75% of Ultima Online's highest subscription numbers were gained under a full-loot, open-PvP only system.
2. Over 90% of Ultima Online's industry awards and professional recognition were given for the full-loot open-PvP only game.
3. The longest period of sustained growth for Ultima Online was under a full-loot, open-PvP only system.
4. Since the carebear lands were added to Ultima Online, the game has only grown to a one month peak of 65,000 more subscriptions, which then sharply dropped off resulting in an overall loss of 55,000 subscriptions to date.
5. Ultima Online never lost any subscritpions overall for the entire time it was a full-loot open-PvP game; two and a half years.
