Warcraft 3 expansion

anyone here have the expansion? Im wondering if there is much of a difference in between the original Warcraft 3 custom maps on battle net and the WC3 expansion i know there is tournaments and clans and such but in terms of maps is there new maps that the original WC3 doesn't have? the only reason why i really play WC3 is cause of the custom maps nothing else maybe a little bit for single player. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

The custom maps have some difference.  Not too much, mainly because of the units and such that you can play, it adds more of a competitiveness.

I haven't played my WC3:TFT In a while, have not had the time.  Hope this helped bro.

is there custom maps in TFT that are not in WC3?

Not too sure on that one man, i'm guessing there would be considering that there are different units.

There are new tilesets, neutral buidlings, and creeps with Frozen Throne, which means any maps made with those tilesets, neutral buidlings, or creeps won't work on WC3.

Just click here. This link shows all the new features you get with FT. The Sunken Ruins and the Ice Crown tilesets are pretty cool.

I would suggest getting FT just for the single-player experience. If you are more of a multiplayer, I see no reason why you should be holding back just because of the clan and tournament support.
