Any way to beta the high res client?

Yes, go to Best Buy and pay $10 for the pre-order DVD.

Yes, but you need the DVD version.

The download version does not have the files.

And, you need to manually install them and configure LOTRO for using them.

I do not know the exact procedure.

Hmm.  I thought the High-Res files were separate from the normal files and that they had to be put on the system manually.

I was not aware  that they were the default install for the DVD version.

nope just install or repair, been using them a few weeks now. Not sure if the are on the disk with PC game magazine but they are on the pre order disk. Once ingame just go to options advanced graphics then play till you get a the looks and  performance where you want em. Well back to the game

I have Lotor beta on my old pc . On it I was in the closed and open beta, but now I just got my new pc and I was trying to find a link to get into the beta game again but can't. Anyone have a link that I can download the beta game and start playing lotor again? Thanks

I actually have a follow up question to the high res client that probably doesn't need its own thread.    How much of an improvement is the high res client over the normal one?
