Looking for a new game to play

Hi folks

 

Getting bored with my current MMO, and this one looks interesting. I am seriously considering trying out the trial.

Just got a few questions first

1 Population. How many players does this game have and is the population growing or shrinking?

2 Character development. What kind of character development does the game have? Do you get new abilities, weapons, become a better soldier, etc

3 Gameplay. Do you have to manually aim your weapons, or can you just select a target and shoot merrily away. For me this is very important, being partially disabled I am dependent on this game not being dependant on manual dexterity if I'm gonna enjoy it

4 Stability. How bugged is the game? Does it crash often? Server stability

Unfortunately I've had my fill of premodern age games. I'm looking for something with machineguns, and tanks and stuff ;-)

Then again if I've been misled by the name of the game and if Pirates of the Burning Seas isn't about cool one legged guys on wooden ships with blackpowder cannons feel free to enlighten me
