    Old skool lurker here. As far as the internet.. I was one of the original 1000 members of CompServe. And then Prodigy after that.

    I got my internet in 1991 (before they even called it the internet).  It was pay per the hour and before AOL even existed as a whole.  The WWW was just emerging and we pretty much used a IRC style chat room

    Well, I used arpa back in the navy in the 1970's and Plato.  After I got out of the Navy in 1985, I worked at Symbolics, Inc.  Which was the first register domain on the internet.
