Well, everyones favorite MMORPG.com girl (I know, I know, far from it but I'm excited right now so let me live in my little dream world right now) got herself a brand spankin new job.
Gone are the days of TWO jobs, running from one end of the city to the other and trying to make everything fit into a schedule with school and every day life. It's also the first job I get that's directly related to my education, which is pretty neat, it's always good to know I havn't wasted the last 4 years of my life on schooling
Anyways, I just felt the need to splatter the news all over the place, I'm at work right now so not like I can call everyone and tell them the news. I don't know how much this new job will let me cheat and spend time on mmorpg.com but hopefully I don't get off completely, although I'm sure some of you would be happy to be rid of me , I think I'd miss you all to much.

I shoot for the curve... anything above that is gravy.
Congratulations Shae!
I no longer work in my field of study (last an entire year as a chemist), but I do love my job working with non-profits. If you can find something you really enjoy, you've done yourself a great service! There's nothing like getting up in the morning, and actually looking forward to going into the office.
Congrats again, and safe travels!

Oh, cruel fate, to be thusly boned. Ask not for whom the bone bones. It bones for thee.
Ico, just had to say I fully understand the stress of being a chemist. For me it was enhanced. I did research.Thank you grants and deadlines and quotas and all the above!! I can understand why one would leave for something less demanding. I especially am quite stressed towards the end of a deadline. Knowing if you do not do specific things you can lose a project. This is not counting competition. Big kick there.
Very thankful right now to be in-between projects. I am looking for a different field, just do not know what. it is.
I amm glad you found something that gets you out of the rat race.
Grats OP!

This is where I draw the line: __________________.
My 'Safety' Officer did me in when he thought he'd save himself time by emptying the base waste-bin into the acid's. As I quickly left the building I invited him to look-up the term 'exothermic reaction'.
Thankfully I wasn't involved with grant writing.
I know this sounds clich

Be cool to people, and try and stay cool that way you never have to regret making someone feel bad. Don't take what ya got granted because some people never get to feel happy. We get to play these great MMOs and surf a good site. Be thankful for what ya got and next time ya feel down imagine a fat sea otter waddling with a pillow and a night cap. Bam! smiles!
I'm so happy that my education links me to a job I do at home. :]
Makes so much time for my random packing up my car and driving to Washington to visit the city. Going to the park and feeding squirrels.
I wish more people could live my life. >.o
