got banned from tcos forum for saying daevi's are ugly

in The Chronicles of Spellborn
yeah so i basically told them they were an ugly species with stupid legs ... they look more like npc monsters u fight then a bad ass race.. that race is the only thing hurting this game because noboody wants to be them.  they look human with goat legs.. jesus christ..



if they were going to make such an ugly ass race why can't they just take them out and make it all human. that i can live with.. those deavi's are just too stupid

    First off, you're entitled to your opinion, even if it's wrong.

    Secondly, banned or not, you're still under NDA. Breaking NDA is not allowed by the RoC of this site. Therefore, I have reported this thread. Good day.

    It's very easy to find pictures of Daevi. Maybe not official pictures but pictures.

     

    I signed no NDA and have seen Daevi pictures...

    I don't seewhere he said he was a tester. Or violating the NDA. So I guess I am confused.

    the heck i didn't break any nda or some kinda rule, im not even in beta at all, im just a fan on the tcos forums critizing the deavi race...



    i guess they didn't like that i hated them and scared i might spread it. i mean good god those legs are ugly. in motion its even worst!

    I really enjoy this race idea, personally, and I think that it's great to finally see a team that - GASP! - are making true animal jointed legs rather than just slapping an animal face onto a human body.

    That said, I find that the "feet" area is much too large and should be toned down a bit. With the size that it is now it seems more comical than anything else, and I hope that the design is tweaked before released.

    Great idea though. I for one welcome our new non-human, actually demon looking playable race overlords. ;D

    EDIT: Oh yeah, and wow the Daevi look awesome.  Yes they look a little otherwordly and the feet could be a bit smaller, but its just so wicked to see a character like that.  I'd rather be the creepy demon than an elf.

    I don't know exactly how to understand your last sentence, it was a pure joke about "daevi developers", I was not refering to artist directors or any real people.

    Just because you don't like something doesn't mean that no one else does. There are other people in this world aside from you, and thankfully we don't think the same way you do. If you don't like something, then leave, but don't spread fictitious rumors that could be detrimental to the game. You were not banned because you voiced your opinion, you were banned because of your cursing, obnoxious behaviour and prior warnings. It's not the developers' fault that you're an idiot, nor is it the daevi's fault, so stop blaming things that have nothing to do with the reason why you were banned.

    That aside, I actually really like the Daevi. I'm glad we finally have a race that's a bit more different and alien than the pointy ears and beards that fantasy races usually have.

    I guess the OP would rather this game have elves? The dranei look interesting too me. yeah the Devs have the right to ban anyone for a week if they want its their forums u not giving them a dime yet lol

    Hey I'm a big fan of TCoS, the dev's and the overall style, but when it comes to the Daevi, I'm with the Farmer.

    It's not that the IDEA of a demon race with hooves is bad, it's just the actual art on them is kinda lame. The legs are just...a bit much I guess, with no other real distinguishing features. I'm glad that many of you here like them, and would love to be proven wrong. I have a feeling though that at release 90% of the population is going to be human.

    Well, I don't know what it's going to be like once the game is released, but a poll on the official forums (Here: http://www.tcos.com/sbforum/viewtopic.php?t=5195 ) indicates that the population spread is going to be fairly even. I know I'm going to play one. Sure, they're ugly, but that's part of their charm. The fact that we're repulsed by their features means that they are truely alien and I think that's what Spellborn is trying to go for, something different and unusual. But, not everyone likes every race, to each their own and all that. No one is being forced to play a daevi, so if you don't like them, just make a human and close your eyes whenever one walks by, it will be like they don't even exist.

     It's not like bashing on the race will make it get taken out of the game, all it does is make you look like a troll, especially if you word it offensively. The only reason why you'd do that is to start an argument.

    I like the art design in TCoS but to tell you the truth the "feet" of Daevis are just out of proportion compared to the rest of their bodies.

    But i agree with the banning because you were just disrespectfull. I don't understand people like you that always try to find something to complain about and complaining isn't even the worst part. These guys are trying something new and you act like a jerk. People like you that thinks they are better should develop their own game. This game is still far from release so maybe they will come around and change their "feet"and if they don't,  i think that Daevis should run faster than humans cause daevis legs are build to run fast and leap through the air .
