So how is planetside these day's?

As the topic says, im curious how planetside is doing, and im considering getting a new copy on sony's digital distrubution

 

1. Is there still alot of players?

 

2. Has there been any kickass new features to the game recently (after the expansion)

 

3. Is it hard to find, a good BIG battle.

1. yes/no.....the game has lost some players, and that is mainly hurting off hours. primetime you still can choose between poplock size fight or smaller ones

 

2. new CE elements, a Galaxy GUNSHIP, flamethrower, cloaked 5 man transport aircraft........

to sum it up, for a long tiem there was stagnation in the development, but a year or so ago the devs started bringing in new cool shit

 

3. during/around primetime there are always easy to find BIG battles (usually by pressing ESC+I for instant action). only in the real off hours, the fights are on a smaller scale

 

 

i started playing a couple months after it came out, havent stopped so far

OH, how good is the gal gunship!? I soooooo miss PS but damn after beta and those million man zergs I just cant imagine it being the same. I am gonna d/l it and try it again (beta disks no workie anymore) and see whats what.

the gal  gunships are a little overpowered for my taste. they have insane armor and lotsa firepower
