Sorry all, but I have to state this again.

Rules are meant to be broken, bent, exploited, tweaked, manipulated, and misused.  1337 players will always use PvP rules to their advantage, while casual players and honest players will not.  This results in 1337 players using PvP rules to pwn everyone else and leaves the honest people at their mercy.  What shadowbane does is liberate the oppressed from restrictive rules and allows them to seek retribution by whatever means available.  Just two weeks ago, there was an end game level character that was griefing newbies on the mainland where they are no longer protected.  What eventually happened was 30 low level characters lynch mobbed the fool.  Generally though griefers are stomped out much sooner by other high level players of honest and benevolent demeanor.

Simply put: there are no rules that prevent honest people from protecting themselves like on other "karma" based games. There are no rules that prevent kind people from protecting the innocent.  There are no rules preventing decent people from removing disruptive/inconsiderate players from their immediate presence.

Shadowbane > all mmorpgs for fairness

now if you want endless quests of menial tasks killing easy mob after easy mob, go play another game.  If you think its fun to never truely be challenged by a real opponent, go play another game.

Oh, and if you do try shadowbane, I am Qualme, on Mourning server.  I am extremely carebear.  If i have room in my group, i will powerlevel you for free.  If you have any questions at all, i will answer them as i am able while not dying to the mobs i am killing while powerleveling people.  Thats what i do.

Glad to see someone else loves their freedom to PvP as they like

 

Also rogues are always fun (I have no idea about bards but most of the other rogues are a lot of fun).  Sneaking, backstabbing (either GM or black mask rune), and there's always infiltration... you'd be amazed what people say without thinking.  Anyway, I just thought I'd share my $0.02...
