Hi Guys and Gals,
While playing the beta I kind of had something go through my mind.
I took 2 characters to 18 and 1 to 10 and I noticed that I hardly used any palladium. Between my 3 characters I have roughly 40,000+ to work with. With shared storage I'm mega rich LOL. I'm hoping they add an auction house or something. It's starting to remind me of old diablo 2 days where ya have 2 million gold and nothing to use it on. If ya wanted to trade for good Items you had to have a bank of SOJ's. I Really, Really , hope this game dont turn out like that. I found alot of really cool items (legendary) that I broke down. They could have gone on the block and somone could have picked it up.
Also, your armor doesn't need repairing so you don't use the cash for repairs. The only thing I used money for is to re-mod my gun.
Thoughts? Oppinions? (We dont need gripes, check the EULA thread for that)

I think an Auction House system would be great.. right now I just break all legendaries I can't use down because it's easier than trying to even give them away.
this is were guild functions come into play for trading for what you can .. and even as a guild you can posst a open sell / trade day for people..
Hmm, I hope FSS has some pretty good ideas on how to handle economy in the game (read money sinks). Maybe they decided to place less emphasis on money and are driving for a barter economy? This would definitely put off gold farmers and similar vermin plaguing most other MMOs.
ha I'm constantly broke... Doesn't sound like you are tinkering with your equipment much? I'm spending every cent I have upgrading my armor, buying mods, and I disassemble everything. Seems like I'm constantly trying to gain money and that doesn't even include adding enhancements to equipment which I'm not even close to being able to afford...

I think that's what they're going for. In Diablo 2, the gold was almost useless and the economy relied on bartering, which was actually pretty fun. So that's probably what they're going for in this game too I would assume.
