yes there will be a monthly fee, like every new mmorpg, no they don't know the amount yet but it will be similar to the rest. If you go the the site of DnL i think you could have found it there, don't mean to be rude.

I find it very starnge that you don't have to pay for this game, I was pretty sure I read it on the FAq or on the DnL-forum. I don't mind to pay for this game because (I hope) this game is gonna rock for a long time. I am gonna buy this one when it goes gold if they implement most of what they said they would. I think I am to late fior next betaphase but you never know so I just wait and wait and hope for an email to arrive image.

Actually I'm pretty sure I read in the FAQ that there will be a monthly fee.

And actually I hope there is a monthly fee. For one it will keep many of the 10 yr olds out of the game, and 2, I want to see this game keep pushing out new ideas, and they can't do that without money!

I confirm the fact there will be a monthly fee.

Monthly fee will most likely (99% chance) be between $12 and $15::::28::

And it is not too late for the next betaphase, the next wave of email for beta will probably be near early August, since they said it will be a bit after their new site has come out and it hasn't yet.

One of the Devchats states that there will be a monthly fee, which is, as mentioned above, bound to be somewhere between 12-15 dollars (or perhaps Euro, seeing as it's France-Based).  It's really not too bad with the current USD/EUD value.

Hey, I have one quick concern. I am very excited about DnL, I bought a good broadband, everything is set...suddenly I realised something...they are going to charge $10-15...but here in Australia, thats gunna cost us up to $30 AND if its in pounds then it'll cost us $45. I aint payin $45 a month for any game. God dammit, does anyone know if the fee will be different in different countries? Or will it be the same considering that you make a transaction from an online credit card so really you are sending them only ten dollars from your credit card and they are RECEIVING ten dollars. I am confused and I really really want to play this game, but alot of us Aussies, who are very good gamers, will miss out because its just too expensive

You will be sending them ten-15 USD, but converted to your currency.  There may be a slight price-gain, seeing as how they must have this money converted to Euro.

It will be between $15-$22 Australian per month, or about $5.00 per week... which is about normal here in Oz.
