I live in FL so already voted - Ron Paul.  I don't know if he has any real chance of winning, but by voting for him people can help force the issue of inflated government and running this country the way it was meant to be again.

What greater tribute to free will than the power to question the highest of authority? What greater display of loyalty than blind faith? What greater gift than free will? What greater love than loyalty?

Probably Clinton.  I dunno why, I just like her more than Obama.  Sorry, its true.  She seems more presidential somehow.  Also, I really don't like the people endorsing Obama (when Ted Kennedy and the NY Post agree on something, its probably best to deep six the entire situation, and pray you never see it again).

Seriously, I think Clinton will do a good job, and most importantly, she really doesn't have many special interests that she's in bed with.  Obama likes the National ID system, his major complaint is its underfunded, and he's being endorsed by Murdoch.  An endorsement by Murdoch means he's either right in bed with him, or the Republicans have something so juicy on him that they would just LOVE to see him nominated as candidate.  Either way, ugly, ugly, ugly.

A pointless post really. How many of the people doing this poll will actually get off there buts and vote. Besides the ones supporting Obama have no sense of direction. Obama has no experience which is needed right now from what the hell hole GWB got us in. Hillary is the best candidate. She knows her foreign politics very very well and can hold her own. She is also the smartest candidate running. Backing her is Bill who you all know took our country out of trillions of dollars debt to balanced with a surplus. The country ran really well when he was in the White House and Hillary is the same as Bill with many of the same political views. 2 presidents in the White House protecting us is better then 1 who doesn't know what to do or what he wants.

Obama is all Preacher talk and spin. He has yet to fully come out and say exactly what it is he intends to do.

I am no political guru. But I thought Clinton was in bed with a LOT of special interests. Perhaps so many that they all drown themselves out. Either way, Obama or Clinton will likely wipe the republicans easily. Altho its pretty obvious the republicans want to go against Clinton.

  • I support Ron Paul.  Its not so much him, but it is what he talks about.  Limited government, sound money, humble foreign policy, no nation building, end the Iraq War, was aginst The Patriot Act,  ect...  Thoes are just some of the reasons why i support Ron Paul the most out of the people running for president.

    John Mccain.

I agree with him on alot of issues and believe he has a very good chance of beating Hillary or Obama.

I like Huckabee better actualy, but don't think he'd win a general election unfortunately.

    ronald reagan.

none of the above. they all suck.

John mccain will beat hillary and obama, but he is a sellout to republicans and mostly conservatives.

I hope John Mccain dies tonite so mitt will win. although my heart wanted something better than mitt too.

    Blessings,

Keep religion out of politics period. This is why our country is so messed up right now because the current idiot in the white house is such a religious idiot.

Oh and PS: Huckabee believes in creationism and not evolution, what a terrible premise to have when running for president of the USA.

  • bluberryhazebluberryhaze Member Posts: 1,702

if religion makes you an idiot...

    than atheism must make you...

if hillary wins, I wonder if she will ever say 'god bless america' ... oh yes she will.

and if obama wins...'allah is great'  or will he conform(pander) to God as well?

As a resident of Massachusetts, I assure you, you don't want Romney.

It's a pretty big dick move when you bail on your last year as governor to plan your dash for the presidency.

I don't like conservatives, or liberals. I hate extremist thinking. All the people I gave a rats ass about already withdrew or don't have a prayer of winning. I guess I'll go with either McCain or Obama, McCain's a moderate conservative, and Obama's a moderate liberal (well, maybe a little more than moderate), I guess that's as best as I'm going to get. Just as long as it's not Clinton or Romney, I don't care.

By the way, serious political deliberations require secular thinking. Religion is a philosophical reference in terms of morality and from an ethical prospective, but it is not a law book. Just as people should not take Freud's findings as actual science, nor should people take the Bible as actual modern law. Sorry, but analysis > tradition.

Obama is ranked the most liberal senator out of all the Senators. He isn't moderate.

    I'm voting McCain.

I know that, I'm just trying to comfort myself. I'm drawn to him, and I don't know why, especially since I'm not a fan of a few of his policies. But meh, anybody but Clinton.

Personally, I'm hoping the general election turns out to be McCain/Paul vs Obama/Edwards.  Then it would be good no matter who wins.

Hillary seems like too much of an actor and Rommney seems like a dick.  Also, Rommney: "jobs are going overseas to countries like Asia and India" so I can't vote for someone who thinks Asia is a country.
