Yesterday, when I logged into Ventrilo, I got a warning in a General MOTD that there was an urgent message at the host's site, and that the server would be shut down in 24 hours unless I reacted. This was the third time this year. Bills were all paid (I actually got the invoice yesterday), so picture me annoyed. Not made any better because they also migrated IP addresses on us a few times now without much notice. So I go to their website: no messages, urgent or otherwise I check the billing page: everything paid up, as usual I try to file a support ticket: can't, the button claims I currently have no rights to do so or some such nonsense. I try to phone them: i get a voice mail, saying they are getting a large number of calls and to leave a message. So I reply to the e-mail invoice.
