trial for old accounts?

I have been reading over here the last few weeks and seen some people say the game is ok now. Well, having tried every other game on the planet, I thought, "what the hell", and want to give swg a try again. I've seen a lot of people talk about using a trial with their old accounts, and seeing as how I really don't want to start from scratch, I would very much like to do this as well. Can this really be done?

If you still have SWG installed just try logging in.
If you do not have it installed just check your account status. If it says "pending" then you have a trial available.
In all honesty I think you'd be better off just starting a new toon anyway. At least it's slightly more bareable to play then using existing toons IMO. Still, 16 levels was all I could take before I felt like I was a rat in a maze.
I agree, if you're going to give it a shot again, start a new toon. Not sure which galaxy you were on, but try Chimaera, Bria, or Bloofin. Chimaera, which I played on, has a very decent community for RP and other things along those lines. I can give you names of guild leaders too of Imperial and Rebel guilds if you need a guild as well.
