Hi there,
I wasn't really planing on getting AoC but since TCoS has been pushed back I might give it a go. As I somehow always choose the most gimped class in the game I thought I'd ask here for a recommendation.
I like:
- magic (spellweaving)
- pvp
- chars that are complex and because of that have a lot of hidden potential
- chars that are versatile
- having fun trying this and that out, exploring unknown areas
- waffles but not cheese
I do not like:
- stealth (in one of my last lives I was a warlock)
- rogues (if I see one I will have to kill him. nothing personal)
- excessive melee
- having no variation. I do not want to play like this -> press 1,2,3, get a beer, 1,2,3, surf on the web, 1,2,3, realize that the fight is finished and turn off the macro
- being a buff bot
A few chars I played up to now: carbineer (swg), warlock (wow), gallente pvper (eve), force archer (cabal), sorc/amazon (diablo).
I do not need a pwneriz0r class with max dmg, max armor or max whatever, just a fun char with a bit of magic and lots of variety/fun. I was thinking about the Herald of Xotli. Is it true that the class doesn't spellweave?
Thanks

Demonologist or Priest of Mitra. With the feats you can build a 'fighting cleric' out of the PoM and they get medium armor which allows them to take a few hits. Along with self heals and some pretty decent offensive spell casting, they seemed pretty fun to me. (I'm rolling one for sure at least as an alt)
