Yeah I've seen this on the main patcher....it's confusing.
So 3 more hours now?
I can imagine all the people that are going to bitch now...lol

What is so confusing about it? It is pretty clear, aside from having been predictable.

I really don't mind waiting but I would have suggested to them that rather than dicking off getting plowed drunk in Oslo last night they might have wanted to do their "testing" yesterday. I really feel kinda bad for Funcom about this because it shows a little that they are unprepared. =(

Well, just remember, the actual launch date for the game is the 20th. So of course there will be problems. Anyone whose ever played any MMo wouldn've and frankly should've expected there was a 90% chance something like this would happen. As long as they dont keep pushing it back to the 20th, then they wont owe us refunds
All early access/open beta's ever are, are a stress stest to the servers.. and, of course, the players

ROFL CALM DOWN. This is exactly why i didnt buy early access. Its never early. At least they told you it was going to be delayed way before the scheduled time.....lols

I am an IT Manager, if that would happen on an announced release i would have to fire people and i would get shit from the CEO, maybe even get fired. They had enough time to prepare for the launch, this is bad management. Don't promise if you can not deliver. If you commit to a deadline weeks ahead you have to deliver. There are no excuses.
Well come on. 4 1/2 years in the making, 8 months past due date and they need 3 hours more to tweak, sheesh if 4 1/2 years was not enough then 3 hours is a frigging piss take, what are we stupid or something

I doubt anyone (well most players of other large name titles) expected the 1PM (EST) deadline. Hoped yes, expect no.
Although I too find it hilarious, I'm not surprised. I expected problems...whether its the login servers dying, the game servers up and down "like a brides nightie" or just a delay in logging in.
However, tut tut on Funcom for waiting until bang on launch time for the announcement.

Anyone who has every played Anarchy Online knows Funcom is infamous for screwing up that launch majorly and almost every major patch and expansion since then.
Keep your fingers crossed that they learned something and this is the only delay and the game will be playable in 3 hours.
