CE vs War Mount

Which would you rather have? The drinking cape and other in game stuff that comes with AoC CE, or the War mount?

War Mammoth. I originally had preordered the Collectors Edition but I ended up going with the normal one when I picked it up. A ring that probably will end up being replaced and a cloak that gives free drinks just isnt as practical as a giant building destroying woolly mammoth. The physical CE extras are nice, just not $30 more nice.

i dont think all preorder stores had a preorder gift. If they had u shoul have gotten or u should get a code that unlocks the mount.

Do you mean that its possible i didn't get the war mount with my CE, or does it mean that it might be subtly included into the package.

Gamestop/EB were offering the War Mammoth as a preorder item while supplies lasted. It didn't matter which version of the game you were picking up.

The real question is, is the War Mammoth any different than the one you can normally purchase/earn, or is it just a free mount?

yes. You had to pre-order the game and have received a pre-order code to input into your AoC subscription.

 

 

no pre-order code = no war mount.

 

not that it really matters there will be mammoth mounts available for everyone, but with a different skin.

I haven't seen anything about that the preorder gift should be limited. To my knowledge if u preordered from one of the listed stores u should get a preorder gift.

The mount is the same as the mount u can buy ingame, it just got a special skin.

To OP: If u preordered from a store thats listed by funcom I think u should contact the store and ask. Some stores supplied the preorder gift code by mail and some handed them out on a card.

I work for Gamestop. Preorder items are always limited. We get sent a fair amount of them and sometimes the demand ends up exceeding the quantity we have. Occasionally we'll get restocked before the game releases, but often its to late.

Horse = running around soloing and pvping

If u check Funcoms site it only says preorder gift might vary between diffrent retailers meaning they might be diffrent not that they dont excist at all. So there should be one preorder gift per preorder.
