Funcom IP Blocking...

in Age of Conan: Unchained

HI All,

Before I splash out on this game does anybody know if Funcom have enabled IP/Country blocking?

I live in Thailand and dont want to import the game if I cant get online:-)

    No IP blocking. It depends on your client where you can play. Euro client cant play in USA and vice versa. Dunno about Oceania.

    Australian's have the US version over here and play on the US servers. I'd imagine that Taiwanese also play the US version.

    Thanks for the heads-up, I am going to order the US version as that normally includes Oceania.

    Anybody out there from Thailand/Asia having problems with the client patching?

    Oh there's 'oceanic preferred' servers as well. They're just servers in the US with more oceanic ppls on them.

    There's bound to be a link somewhere on the Funcom forums or here.
