Can someone who is playing answer some Q's please?

I bought the game, but haven't played yet because my PC died on me and isn't back yet...
Anyway, i know a couple of people who play that like the game, but have mentioned a few things that make it seem a bit pointless for me to play - so maybe someone on here can claify them for me?
Ok - i have ben told there is nothing to do when you hit max level - so you hit lvl 50... what do you do next?
I have also been told that by lvl 42 it is almost impossible to kill anything solo - so, is it a "must be in a group" game?
Another thing is a video i saw of some guy on a horse kicking people off a bridge, amusing to watch, but not amusing to deal with - Are issues like this being dealt with asap or are they a bit overwhelmed by bugs atm?
I don't intend for this to turn into a mud slinging match between the lovers and haters - just honest and accurate answers plz

a) Max level is 80,
b) there is instancing/pvp (also building placeholder guild cities, and bugged crafting).

I am 72 atm, and that is certainly not true. I haven't grouped seriously since late 30s. Although depending on your class millage may vary.

After a few days of play I have changed to (rp)pve server where such asshatery is very limited.

A: Maximum level is 80. There are level 80 zones already, and more content is being added for mid to high 30's and 50's.

A: That depends on the MOB/Your Level Compaired to the MOB/Your Class.

A: From my experience (PvE Server) I've witnessed no grief plyers, and bugs are fewer and fewer after each patch. Due to the overwhelming success of their launch, they are recruiting aggresively for their Customer Service Dept.

Isn't there collision detection? Or does stealthing make you intangible too
