I dunno I even thought EQ was shit back when it was released, sooooo far behind single player games it's like what is the point in playing a shit game just because its a mmo?
LOL at the in game map and how swimming works in the game where you have to keep tapping space bar or you sink and how ladders out of the water don't actually work so you have to keep trying to get out for a year. The combat sucks too the animations are sooo bad and it's not even fun you just stand there and it auto attacks......... wow so fun!
Dunno how people put up with that shit back then.
---------------------------------------- Talking about SWG much?
You get nothing from me after that because the rest is pretty much crap I honestly rated these games on 1 my personal playing experience and 2 the sense I get from the community as well far too many mmos end up borked beyond all recognition to name 5 for me.
but yeah, to call this game Fantastic is like calling Twilight the Godfather of vampire movies....
SWG Pre-CU/Pre-Jedi - Because it was the definitive MMO.
City of Heroes - For obvious reasons.
Tabula Rasa - Because it didn't suck as much as everything else at the time.
...
...
I really didnt even want to put Tabula Rasa on there for the simple fact that it is completely one dimensional, but oh well. I guess I could say the same about City of Heroes too, but at least it has the Character Customization thing going on, and the combat system is really inventive.
All other MMO's I've played, didn't make it past the first month with me, so I can't put anymore down. I would put down FFXI as an honorable mention, but the grind centric forced grouping gameplay makes me hate this game with a passion.
SWG Pre-Cu and even Cu, so Pre-NGE...damn I spent a lot of time with that game
EQ - Same with SWG, spent a lot of time with friends on there
Guild Wars - The beta was so much fun and I had a great time with it
Diablo 2 - Doesn't really count...but I am still playing it to this day
RS - Spent a lot of time at school playing it...easy way to pass time in computers...from 8th grade till senior year and logging on a bit in college too
Playing: Diablo 2, Medievia, SWG EMU In between: Eq Mac Retired: Guild Wars (2x), EQ, DAoC, PSO, Tibia, Runescape, WoW, SWG, Maple Story Waiting: WaR (hesitant), New Star Wars MMO
1.- Lineage II: Got lucky with my guild choices, got pretty involved with the massive pvp and I had a blast.
2.- UO: probably I couldn't enjoy it to the maximum cause I was pretty newbie, still, I've got some good memories from those times.
3.- Tabula Rasa: Playing it now, I didn't test it until a pair of days ago, and honestly, I can see how bad launches affect games, cause right now it's a bit dead, but very playable.
4.- Dark age of camelot: Didn't get really involved with it cause I couldn't stand the PvE in that game, the PvP was cool, still, i left UO to play daoc, and since I didn't get completely hooked I started playing L2.
5.- I haven't played any other worthy MMO, F2P (which I couldn't stand) and AoC, I think I'll give this 5th spot to AoC cause of the tortage experience.
1. Lineage 2 (I love the graphics) 2. Silkroad Online (before the invasion of you-know-what) 3. Granado Espada (I love the costumes!RAWK!) 4. Day of the Tentacle (oh wait..ain't no MMO..but hoping for one) 5. Cabal Online (Kinda okay. I had fun)

This a crappy list
One man's heaven is another man's hell.
I make spreadsheets at work - I don't want to make them for the games I play.
