Ok why do I have to dismount to talk to anyone am I the only onr bothered by this? I seriously wanna punch someone when I need to turna quest in is that healthy? I dont think it is.
Turbine fix this prob so I can put this as my fav PVE game without question. I am gonna watch all 3 LOTR movies this weekend and if I see one person talking from a mount I am gonna call BS on it being lorebreaking.
Please make it so I can talk to people from a mount.
Not a rant I love LOTRO just see a small problem that really pisses me off. (does this bother anyone else but me?)

yes, It is a pain dismounting and remounting. Other things that bother me is people being able to ride horses in places like Thorins Hall and dueling in tghe last homely house. Yeah I know small issues, but we gotta have something to bitch aabout now don't we?

Eh I dont think it has to do anything with "lore"... probably just a coding issue since we cant do anything else while mounted.. but its a good idea and hope they will fix it but its really not that big deal!

boy are you gonna go crazy in the two towers. theres nearly a whole scene with Gandalf and the king of Rohans son speaking on the back of horses. in the extended version theres a whole scene where they speak with wormtounge, again on horseback.
it is a pain at times to dismount.
MMO wish list:
-Changeable worlds
-Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads

That's a great suggestion. In fact in general I'd like to be able to do a lot more from horseback than I can. I'd also like to be able to lead my horse around, I've seen that suggestion on the official froums (but not talking from hrseback, oddly). I presume that by the time we get to Rohan we'll be able to fight from horseback.

They did that by caving into the "LoTR purists" that only drive the masses away from this game. While you are at it ask them to change it so I am not knocked off my mount every five steps and that my bar will slowly refill when I am not being attacked.
I dont understand what "lotr purists" have anything to do with this or how they are driving the masses away (even thou they are way to sensitive sometimes

Since the movies came out I would personally rather just watch them then read the books again. Guess my slight attempt at a joke in my first post was a poor attempt. Sorry if I offended any of the lore nazis by mentioning the movies.
And great job missing the purpose of the post you are probably one of the people on the LOTRO website that complains that it would clog up quest givers and the AH NPC's like the game has such a large population in comparison to other MMO's that it wouldnt work.
