Ok, here goes:
Dinotopia Worlds: If you come across the Dinotopia books, T.V. series, or mini-series, please watch-read them. Once you do, imagine all that you've read in MMORPG.
Prehistoric Worlds: Ok, in this MMORPG, you are in a world inhabited by man-- and dinosaurs! Think of the possibilities! Like taming dinosaours to do your bidding, ride one as a horse, FIGHT dinosaurs too (as well as other players). Think of this game as in a primitive environment, but with modern man. Ever played King Kong? Now you know what I mean. I looked through EVERY MMORPG on this web site and only found TWO that had any dinosaurs whatsoever: Bounty Bay Online, and this other one, Tischumi something. Don't remember the name. Anyway, dinosaurs would provide a unique experience for the novice and advanced player. So - - whaddya think?

A dinosaur RTS was made recently, called ParaWorld, other than that I don't think there have been many dinosaur games made.
It's an interesting idea. A caveman MMOG would be fun. Perhaps with evolution being involved in leveling. As you evolve you can use increasingly sophisticated weapons, similar stuff. Maybe you would have to do battle with normal humans or something.. it's an interesting concept, it would be nice if major companies who have the cash to pull something like that off would be brave enough to try a making a game as groundbreaking as such a game could be. For now the developers seem to be spamming clones, hopefully it will change at some point.

worst idea ever. literally the worst thing ive ever read in my entire life of gaming on consoles and online.
you should really be ashamed for even thinking that this would be even cool in the slightest, and slap your mother for giving birth to you

That's rather tame by the local standards.

Playing: Nothing
Played: Champions Online, CoX, STO, PSO, WoW, lots of free-to-play crap
Looking Forward To: DC Universe Online, Blade and Soul
While it is true that there are no dinosaurs-based MMOs, the big lizards make more than one appereance in many MMos as mobs and things to kill and frankly, I like it that way.
A prehistoric (pre-fictional historic? as men and dinosaurs never lived together?) MMo does not strike me as a very popular concept. Yes, there are some people that likes dinosaurs, I guess, but the prehistoric environment would limit quite much the possibilities for a MMO.
Make it a single player game, survival based, in which a family of cavemen, you as the patriatch, has to survive the day-to-day operations and find a big better cave and start on their way to civilization and you might have something worthy.
Then again I was a fan of the dinos when I was like 8, but I kinda grown out of that phase, maybe there are way more people liking them than I think *shrugs*
Good luck.

Well I don't mind dinosaurs and all. However, your idea feels better suited for a single player game. That idea doesn't need other players to exist in order to have fun value. As much as I like to watch people fighting each other with sticks and stones. I'd say if dinosaurs become you main focus, then the play value as an MMO decreases.
This dinosaur talk almost remind me of Fallout 3, except there are no dinosaurs. Plenty of mutants though. Alot of mutants..
