An angel loses it's wings and falls into the bottomless selfish pit, known as WoW.
But seriously.... just merge the servers. ALL aspects of this game revolve around population numbers. If you don't have them, the game is a worn down version of everything else. Drab in every detail. I cannot express how AWESOME it would be, to have each server like it was back in beta. Pretty much anywhere you went, PQ or OPEN RVR, it had volume. Now? I am lucky in T2-T3 to get an actual PQ completed.
I really do not understand how some people can actually sit here and say merge is a stupid idea. This game needs more volume on the servers, even med/med is too low.

Yeah, I really don't see what the big deal is. WAR is dependant on strong server populations. EA needs to consider the ramifications of losing a little face (actually most sane people would praise EA) to losing subscriptions.

Kittens are more dear to me I think so hence my preference, or stronger sense of horror at the thought ^^
lol servers would need like 10-15 K people per server to be rly awesome..but atm I guess we have only 4-5 K per server
honestly WAR is all about the number of people in 1 area
lol can you imagine how the PVP will be splited when they had the 2 other capital cities

Yeah, they should start merging servers, and the sooner the better.
My sub is cancelled and while my time runs out I haven't had the slightest desire to log back in. Maybe if there were more people and Order didn't suck so much. But really, this game had some innovating ideas in a few areas and beyond that is a fail. Just my opinion of course.
I have to wonder if more people would actually have an effect. Sure there are issues due to low populations, but people are choosing to do things other than PQs and RvR for a reason.
It only took my server about 2 weeks after the transfers to go right back to everyone queing scenarios all day long and PQs/RvR to die down again. Jamming more people onto the same server will not change the amount of xp/renown in scenarios, realm population imbalances, lack of incentive to defend keeps, etc.
The day they merge servers is the day they admit the game wasn't anywhere near as successful as they expected it to be, and WAR's already struggling reputation is shattered for good.
They can't win.
Their only option is to delay the inevitable, so that's what they're doing.
