Yes.  But not sure if these activities qualify as a hobby.

    2. Golf
    3. Racquetball
    4. Reading (currently reading the history of accounting)
    5. World Creation

pshhh those aren;t a hobby that is a lifestyle  I look at that  like my firearm.. it is not a toy I do not show it off. lol ohh you reminded me of when  I shot all those arrows into the roof .. oh my I got into so much trouble! lol

Pfft of course archery is a hobby, along with pool:P Nothing better than showing new women pupils how to *ahem* position themselves propery:P

what you don;t teach the guys the same way as well? hahahahah!  I never considered playing billiards or darts a hobby though I just do that for fun like playing chess, dominoes, blackjack, poker,  risk, axis and allies.. like any other game. I love  strategy based games the most but they are all fun.   I consider archery, HTH, self desense the same as my firearm so that is a necessary skill not a hobby for me. though I guess it could be for some people lol.

The best self defense skill is running fast XD And hey I wouldn't mind teaching guys like that, but you know how guys react when another guys touches their legs or hands to position them properly:P

You should try pool, especially the french version is very difficult and yes its classified as a hobby:)

Technically speaking archery, martial arts and markmanship are sports, and since my job doesn't require them as prerequisites I can say we can safely classify them as hobbies:)

PS a game also I like equivalent to risk, is Junta:D Best game ever with 3+ people.

When in childhood my 2 brothers and I would make makeshift bows and have our own achery fun. (Honest and we were out in the country) Also making makeshift sling shots. Legos, biking, slinkis, and Rubik's Cube as well. Boards games like Risk, Monopoly, Axis & Allies, Fortress America, and Conquest of the Empire.

I can't remember when I haven't played video games. I've started with the Coleco/Intellivision/Atari 2600/Commodore 64 era. Legacy of the Ancients is what I'd consider my first CRPG.

Later on and through adulthood I'd say reading, writing, swords, and collecting them. Though reading has considerably lessened and writing is more confined to posts now.

Touring Civil War and other historical sites is also an occasional past time.

I think if I was loaded and didn't have any other obligations I'd get a small forge and learn to hammer some metal and make swords and stuff.  Perhaps allow my creativity to come to the surface through it.

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

It actually doesn't take up that much time.  Its a lot of work.  I make hunting knives with my uncle (hes got the forge)

Lemme tell you, its really nice when you complete your piece and it came out just how you wanted it to.

I'm not afraid of work.  I actually like it.  I've yet to find someone with a forge and actually get down to hammering some white hot metal.  I imagine it might be quite therapeutic in a sense.  And of course there is a sense of accomplishment afterwards knowing you made something useful out of nothing.
