Hey, i dont want to get your hopes up, but i think i may have found the ultimate F2P. Ryzom.
Its a sandbox mmo, where you can do anything you want, your not restricted to class.
Theres 4 Classes (But you can do the other 3 as good as you normally would)
Fighter - Basic melee fighter
Mage - Basic Magicion fighter
Forager - Harvests materials.
Crafter - Crafts materials into items.
You can do anything you feel like, and the community is great! If you hop on to region chat and ask ANY question, it will be answered in seconds.
If you are going to play, join the english server, Join the first race (Doesnt make a difference) and the class of your choice. My name is Redeemed. Add me, and if u get stuck, make sure you ask questions in Region chat!

Ryzom is not FTP. It is only free on the trial island, you pay to go to the main game.
never heard that game before. Do you have any screen shots about on that game besides of being pay to play. Because like him im still looking for a new game to play. But the game that i am looking ofr now is a FTP mmorpg not PTP.

Weirdly most players are looking forwward to paying - we enjoy the game that much - though after payment starts we are expecting big things to happen.......

its the same as Atlantica online that i am currently playing now. Maybe i would also try that game if i have a extra time but sad to say becasue i am busy playing Atlantica online. in this Atlantica you can chat also not only for a party chat but also you can choose to chat with Nation, Guild, Peers, and also Advertise. And another good charatceristics of this game is that you can sell you're items like weapons armors , foods, medicine or other materials that you want to sell. You can make selling while you're doing quest, just leave it to the market. You can control a town if you have a guild and you're the guild leader and another you can declare a war nation to other nations too. Sound cool right!? Well anyway its just my experience in playing this game just want to share it to you guys. Anyway im also looking for another game that i want to add to my list if im done in this game. happy gaming ^^

Hell, I had thought they'd gone back to paying to play already. I enjoyed it when it was pay to play. Too many disrespectful kiddies when it's free.
What's the server population like? Concurrent user #?
