Any Canadians get the early access key from a eb games/gamestop?
I just found out today that you can pre order and get the closed beta access via pre order. However i have been looking/calling all over in the toronto area about this and A) most of the stores have no clue what i'm talking about and 
the one guy that did know what was going on said they were supposed to be in on may 29th however they haven't gotten them yet.
has anyone in Canada been able to get the pre order plus early access ?

im going to my local ebgames/gamestop this afternoon to check, but from what i read online, the pre-orders are supposed to begin on june 9th.
i got my pre-order key last night but im in Nova Scotia
how did you get it? did you order online from american gamestop? i was thinking about it but they charge you 15 bucks for shipping..

Be carefull guys, from what i know, if you order from Gamestop US and they ship from US with a package value (declared) of more than 1$ (gift), you will have to pay federal and or provincial taxes as well as custom brokerage, which could lead to 30-40 $ more... I don't know how Gamestop ships to Canada, but had a bad experience a few years ago with another online reseller... Had to pay 35$ CDN to get my package because of taxes and brokerage fees...
The people i've talked to from ebs don't have any idea. I'm just gonna keep calling tuesdays as that is usually when they recieve shipments in my area.
They're the only video game specialty retailer around, but they suck. I asked if preordering gets me the promo stuff, they said first come first serve.
I preodered from ebgames at a astore and they didnt knew what i was talking about, 2 day later i come gagains and ask them about my beta card and they told me they expect to recieve them on the 9th
Yeah, this afternoon I went to the local EB and luckily the manager was there. They didn't have the preorders yet but knew what I was talking about. I'm going to revisit on the 9th. It seems not all EB Games have them in, makes sense because it wouldn't be too easy to make sure the keys found their way to each store on the same night.
A) EB games Canada sucks
C) Ordering from Gamestop.com; you'll get your game shipped from somewhere like Texas and have to pay shipping and all that as mentioned.

the biggest piss off for me isn't even the fact that most of the eb retailers have no clue what i'm talking about when i ask about the beta promo. Its the fact that you can't order online in canada yet you can in the states? wtf is that
i'm at work today unfortunately, did anyone go/contact an eb today (in canada)? I know a bunch said the "official" release was june 9th, just wondering if i should skip work early today to rush to eb for a chance at a beta key.
When it comes to online shops and ordering stuff online in Canada, we are like a 3rd world contry. Good luck with that, you'll have better chance to just go to your local shop and reserve a copy....
Your best bet is to order from the US GameStop get your beta key then cancel it,the pre order announcement has also been pushed back to the 17th.
un confirmed retailers that will have the Aion CE are Bestbuy FutureShop Walmart TheSource Toys R Us
Only confirmed one so far is EBGames
So hopefully the 17th will shed some light on this.
i don't see how you can pre order from gamestop.com considering it costs full game price, and they auto charge you for shipping fee also. So the game will cost about 70 + bucks just so i can get beta key access, i'm almost considering just driving to buffalo instead lol .
My total for ordering from Gamestop.com was 84.00$ or something very close, it was 80$ + though, I hit cancel.
Some people are getting their keys and pre orders now though, hopefully my eb games will get theirs soon too.

Im in toronto.
I preordered a copy at Eaton's center on the 6th or 7th.
Today i went to pick it up, and they had it.
The package they gave me contained access to beta only.
althou the package listed all the extras for preordering.
The guy said we will have the game on Sept.1 or so .
Also EB games at fairview mall should have it too, i talked to them in person yesterday.
yeah just got mine from eb today (toronto) woooh finally.
Any news from people in / around Montreal with better luck than me?
Went to the EB at Galeries D'Anjou, pre-ordered the Collector's Edition, and all they gave me was..................
........................my receipt...........................
Seriously WTF?!? Of course the guy had no idea what I was talking about regarding the card and Beta code....

If your in Canada do yourself a HUGE favour and cancel your Gamestop pre orders,you have to pay massive duty fees I can't remember them all theres 3 of them,you will end up paying over 150 dollars canadian.And quite possibly more depending on how they classify it.
All EBGames are now taking pre orders and Futureshop and BestBuy have also been confirmed to be taking them in the not to distant future.
This was confirmed by Liv (Associate Producer NA Aion)earlier today.
I would contact them again Vega as they should have the codes now.
I went to EBGames here in New Brunswick and picked up a Pre-Order package in the store.
It's just a slim DVD type case with a card in it.
