No LAN is affecting me by quadrupling the price of the game or worse.
I have a 6-8 way LAN so in order to play a internet game with all my mates now, the price has gone up from £30 for a LAN game to £180-£240 for an internet game.
So I won't be playing on Bnet. Sorry, I'm not that intrested in this game.
I don't think it will be 6-8 times as good as all the other RTS games. I don't think it will be twice as good. In fact I don't think it's the sort of title that excites me enough to pay full price for, let alone full price multiple times. Perhaps I would have picked it up out of the discount bin or something later on, or a re-release, but again even at £10 a copy in 2 years time, that would mean £60-80 for the game and frankly I'm willing to bet there will be other games out there that are more competatively priced and just as fun.
I will be playing Bloodbowl instead I expect.
A great game, all my mates know the table top (making it highly accessable). It supports LAN and I can set it up on my system for a reasonable price.
