Massively.com: The Daze of Darkfall Week 4: The terror of Agon

kazamxkazamx Member CommonPosts: 165

The final part of a 4 week series looking at what it like to play Darkfall over a month.

It seems that while the author thinks the grind is too hard, they think the game has a lot going for it.

The game has a lot of potential, its just a shame the dev company keeps throwing it away every chance they can with no communication with its customers.

Double charging NA players just isnt cool after you tell them you will take care of them.

    Good read.   I'm famous...

There are many definitions of "taking care of ..." . by one definition, AV promised to kill you and all of their customers. Make sure you lock your doors for the night!

I am the type of player where I like to do everything and anything from time to time.

grinding is for bad players or people too chicken to go out and pvp/pve. ironically, if people spent less time grinding and more time playing, they would be far more competitive.

the "grind" in DF is only as bad as you want it to be. the lack of forced grind is part of the reason why i like this game, i don't *have* to grind, i just go kill stuff and my skills improve. when i have to do RL stuff, i afk harvest resources, or afk at the BW. my skills are far from perfect but they're pretty good, and i got there without grinding.

this is a world away from eg: WOW where you *have* to grind: levels, gear, factions, and then raids to progress.

If you can be competitive by just "playing" the game, why are you using the Bloodwall?

If theres no grind, why are you using the Bloodwall?

    I win!!! LOL@U
