Cannot connect

see Iam on trial account, worked fine this morning when I created it done a few quests etc before work, but I come home, update with the patch and log in fine, everything is fine,, until I get to the log in / server select screen...

Any server I try to connect with, I get a message saying 'server has closed your connection, connection lost' or something along those lines, so I try reconnect a few times as it repeats this and suddenly the game shuts down completely...

ANyone else have this, any hopefully have a fix on this or have a clue as to what the problem is?

Im sure it said 10 day trial, not 10 hours.........

    Hey, I've been doing the 10 day trial this week myself (EU version), having a good time too, but have now got the same problem ever since the new patch was applied this morning. I've since contacted customer support and got the following message back:

    Dear Customer,

    In relation to your appeal about not being able to patch and, in turn, access the game; we are currently investigating this matter. We have had some reports from players in similar situations. We realise that this is an urgent issue with regards to your trial and hope for a speedy resolution.

    We would ask that you take the following steps to ensure that all files are present and correct:

    Open the Directory where you installed WAR. The default is C:/Warhammer Online/.

    If you are unsure on how to find this please:

    • Open My Computer

    • Open (C:) Drive

    • Open Warhammer Online.

    • Delete the CACHE folder.

    • Delete USER folder.

    • Delete the Interface folder.

    • Run Warpatch.exe and make sure you tick the full file check option.

    Please also ensure that you are not running any Addons, as these can interfere with your interface and cause issues.

    Also, please note that the patch server may be very busy at this time, it may be advisable to try after a period of about one hour.

    However their advice didnt fix the problem. I've got afeeling it is an issue alot of people may have and I also think it's probably one of those problems that sorts itself out in time. Just gotta sit tight and wait sadly.

    They brought the server down today.

    I just checked the war-eu web site and it looks like that emergency maintenance is on for tomorrow morning here in the EU. Guess that might solve the problem, I hope!
