well i live in the U.K i'm going to order online when WoW is out in the U.S why don't you do the same i am also angry that people like us in europe always get game last i think asia and the U.S get every game etc first
EQ2 is no problem since it is coming out same time as in USA in UK and already got my pre oder disk.
WoW is another matter after some research i found out that the earliest we will see it here in europe is end of january 2005(just on a side note CoH has only recenetly gone on sale in UK).
So i did what i do with any mmorpg i want to play i pre ordered it from canada. It actually cost less then when it comes on sale here if you convert the cand $ to £.And shipment is free. There is a courier option to pay for but DO NOT use this option.
In the UK you get taxed for "importing" software and it can be as much as 60% in some cases IF it comes by courier since it is tracked.
By regular mail there is no tracking so while it takes about 5-10 days to arrive as againt 2-3 days by courier you save a huge bundle on taxes and courier services which in the case of SWG cost me a total of £38 on top of the game cost.
A good site to order from is www.dvdboxoffice.com .There is another site forgot name sps something that imports to uk and resells it cost like twice the cost if you do what i told you.
Unfortunatly all you europeans are basically screwed to play WoW until the official european release, unless you have very good American friends that let's you use their VISA cards..As the billing system WILL check for where the VISA is registered..
This has been stated at the official board, they mention the reason for this is server load and latency problems, this can be looked up in the official FAQ, but alas it's just bull, since the real reason behind it is distribution rights, those who will destribute the game in Europe will NOT let europeans play on the US servers becasue that will make them loose sales..
So If I where you and lived in Europe, I woul'd cancel my pre-order, because you won't be able to play on the US version anyway..

I think it will certainally come out before christmas,
otherwise they will loose a lot of potential members.
They said in 2005 and knowing blizzard with their dates ....:/
late jan, early feb 2005 is what ive seen in european stores
I hope 'in stores' is not the same then 'coming out'.
I was counting down at 15 November...
Why it takes so many longer to release it in Europe than in Amerika, Australia...??
