Favorite Bad Movies

Mine's "Jesus Christ, Vampire Hunter." It has EVERYTHING one could want in a great bad movie, even El Santos!

Changed my life. I think I may be a Christian largely due to its influence.

I guess it depends on what your definition of bad is.  Some people think The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai is a classic.  I happen to think it's incredibly cheesy, but I still like it.

This would have to be number one in my book.

    Kung Pow

It is so bad, I laughed my ass off.

My favories bad movie would have to be The Fearless Vampire Killers. It's a bad but very cool vampire movie from the 60's.

I know Douglas Adams wrote the screenplay, but I thought the movie was horrible - especially the representation of Zaphod.

On a related note, my favorite "bad" movie is Critters. It is also the first movie which I saw a nice big pair of boobs.

I remember there being a remake of "attack of the killer tomatoes"

I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.

Old Classic Indian (Hindi) movies, lots of dancing, singing, colour and fun in these movies ...beautiful, and unrealistic scenes, my equaly crazy friend and I have a very hard time keeping a straight face when going to one of these.   Unfortunately my husband wont ever go with me, he is not sure how to handle it when I start getting the giggles during serious scenes, and does not see the humour in it.

Hmmm... Jaws? And the movie with the orca whale "hunting" the guy everywhere was quite funny. Oh, and Monster in the Closet is the best garbage movie, ever.

    • Beverly Hills Ninja
    • Tremors
    • Commando
    • From Dusk Till Dawn

I saw this movie in college: Chopping Mall

On video of course.  Can't really say that I liked it, but what a great name for a low budget horror flick.

I remember Buckaroo Banzai and the 6 String Samurai.. both fun "cult" movies

I never saw any of the Attack of the Killer Tomatoes or The Toxic Avenger.

Some more cultlike "bad" movies that I enjoy. (there's way too many to name honestly)

Death Race 2000 (original) - an old movie with sylvester stallone... a cross country race where you score points by running over people (a hell of a lot different than the recent death race that came to theaters in the past year).

Polyester/Pink Flamingos - Old John Waters movies. Real cheap production.. both movies are quite different from one another but the lead character is a transvestite actress.

Puppetmaster Series... they are working on number 10 right now and it will be a flashback to Nazi Germany like Puppetmaster 3 (arguably the best one).

    Repo Man - wacky cool

Rollerball (original) - A death sport

I don't really think we can label all cult movies as bad though. That's why I put the quotation marks around the "bad" up there.

It bothers me that I cant think of any actually terrible movies that I love right now.
