I know people have had trouble getting on, but I guess this can be answered by anyone who has played the beta. I'm stuck between Elyos and Asmodian, and I was just wondering, is there people on one than the other? Does it depend on the sever? Or is it just about equal? Thanks in advance.

I think it's pretty much balanced. You can get an idea following the link below:

Currently: AION, an MMO Beta under NDA
Played: WAR, LOTRO, Hellgate: London, CoX, GW, SotNW, DAOC, EQ2, SWG, WoW, AO, Horizons, Second Life, There, TSO
Beta'd: There, Second Life, EQ2, DAOC:LotM, LOTRO, Tabula Rasa, Gods and Heroes, Hellgate: London, Requiem:Bloodymare, AoC, WAR, DDO, Fallen Earth
The general impression I get is that Asmodian seems more popular, but the servers have an auto-balance capability i.e. they will not let the sides on a particular server become too dominated by one side.
Alrighty thanks. Just one more question, which is the most populated server?
There is balance only because they are working hard to enforce balance. Were everything open and free, I wager Asmodian would outnumber Elyos 3:2
Torrential: DAOC (Pendragon)
Awned: World of Warcraft (Lothar)
Torren: Warhammer Online (Praag)
I would bet the most populated server is the same as the one with the most legions ( Azphel ). Note, however that is where the arena pvp players from arenajunkies went. I would expect Azphel to be extremely fierce.
Pick a low pop server is my advice to you, Let the server grow with you and avoid the Que lines.
Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries...
Right now there is no high population or low population server as they are all getting to the point of being full. Asmodians will be a bit higher in population on all servers but it's pretty closely balanced faction wise.
If you are talking about North American servers.. I mean I can assume but that's supposed to be bad.
There are two Kasinel and I forget the other that swing between showing as low/high and you can generally log into np.
It may depend on time of day but last night in the 9 to 10 pm pacific time frame Zikel had the largest "line" at 2400+ and another server was 2200+
Earlier in the day it was probably some other server with the longest line tho I know Zikel was over 3000 waiting.
Some of the servers are easier to get into but this is just not going to be the cast as the week goes on. Also if one race is really over populated you'll know as it will tell you.. you can't create that race on the server at the current time.
