I thought about trying this game, but all the screenshots and videos Ive seen shows characters looking like hobos or sand people from starwars. What kind of options are there for characters to look somewhat cool? not cool in a huge glowing shoulders armour way, but cool in a mad max way? this might sound superficial, and I dont doubt the quality of the game, but I get really attached to my character and I prefer looking good over looking bad. And sorry about being off-topic, but the thread looked so nice and friendly...
Most screen and tube vids show lowbies. As you level up your appearance and armor look a lot better and you can personalize a lot of it.

But yeah, it's never too soon for getting rid of the Lifenet outfit, in my opinion. Even the lowbie "hobo" clothes, as one poster put it, felt better.
I also have a tendency to keep the good-looking low level outfit in the barter vaults, not being able to throw them away. I have no idea why
