hmmm, i forget, if anyone of you has played any of bioware games on console and pc you find out that pc versions are much more polished/ bug free/ better game play in all and all vs the same game on the ps3/360.
so another +1 for p.c.

I am not sure that is the consoles in themselves fault. The translation of those games were not that great, there is many console games that have been badly ported to PC also.
As long as the console players buys a keyboard I don't really see the problem here. A good game is a good game no matter what the hardware you play it on is.
My PS3 is collecting dust but I did have a good time with a few games, like Soul Calibur IV and Guitar hero (well, GH + a few beers) and I prefer my games on the PC but if there was a good enough PS3 MMO that didn't exist on PC I would play it.
I also understand that some people can't spend so much money on a high end computer and consoles are good for them (I don't want to talk about how much my PC costed, just the 4 raided SSD drives did cost a pretty penny).

Since the developers have come to a conclusion that everyone should be able to play MMO's regardless of their system specs, I think transition to consoles is a much needed change if we don't want to see MMO graphics lag 10 years behind the rest of the gaming industry.
Consoles don't offer as much customization when it comes to the game (WoW and it's add-ons come to mind) but honestly, it's not a crucial feature to have.
I think themeparks would benefit from a bit more console-playstyle approach as well.

Many elitist comments ive been reading here are simply ridiculous.
Final fantasy XI is one of the most hard and old school mmo's, where grouping is extremely necessary and it has probably the best community out there. And half of that community are console players

KotOR didn't have any issues on the console, stayed exactly the same when ported to pc.
Jade Empire didn't have any issues on the console, stayed exactly the same when ported to pc. Special edition content means nothing in this case.
Mass Effect had minimal issues on the console, those issues persisted on the pc, as well as several pc specific issues creeping up.
Dragon Age had problems on the console, but just as many if not more on the pc.
So...your point does not stand by you, what exactly are you trying to get at?
I can agree in some cases on the game play, like in the case of Dragon Age, it is better on the pc. But in the case of Mass Effect, Jade empire, KotOR, etc, not so much. They were all designed and made with the console controls in mind and adapted with pc controls in mind and operate accordingly. Whether one is better then the other at hat point is purely a matter of preference.

MMO's and consoles don't play nice together unless it's a lobby / limited world like Phantasy Star. FFXI is the only successful cross platform MMO...wait, it's the only cross platform MMO.
So many MMO's claimed they were going to launch on platforms it's not even funny. Even SWG was originally planned to be cross platform in 2002 / 2003.

Well, to put it into perspective, MMOs need A LOT more maintenance than any other type of game. This is hard enough for the P.C. However, once you start having to worry about cross-platforming every update, and tech supporting for multiple platforms, it gets even more complicated. A fix for one of the consoles could create a problem for P.C. and visa versa. Couple that with the limited market for MMOs over the consoles, and your risk outweighs your reward. This is why most MMOs simply don't do it.
The only one do to it somewhat successfully was FFXI, and that was because they had a loyal fanbase prior to the game who played both the PS2 and the PC. (So it was done more as an attempt to keep the fans they already had, rather than an attempt to get new ones).

Unless an MMO is made that can run on this console, I don't think I'll be buying one.
