My only complaints about DDO

I don't want anyone to think I just made another bash this game thread, this is totally not the case in fact I rather enjoy DDO.  Being a fan on pen and paper Dungeons and Dragons this game really impressed me with as closely as it stuck to the rules, well as much as possible.  All things this game is a diamond in the rough it still needs a little fine tuning but overall the experience is fun and it has a replay value all of its own, forcing players to learn new classes and play styles in order to make the best character possible via the reincarnation feature where you restart you character at level 1 with bonus stats.   Now all that being said the only problem i have with the game is the server sizes if they would reduce the amount of servers down to one or two servers the game play would improve for two reasons it would make it easier to find groups for team play (which is necessary for endgame and secondly it would make organized pvp simpler with the games built in system for the player that just wants to kick some butt.

Thanks

The servers can not handle being down to one or two, the lag would be amazingly bad. As for PvP. You could condense all of DDO into one server and the PvP would still suck. I fail to see how a system almost no one uses(PvP) would improve with everyone on one server. PvP in DDO is a time waster and used to check certain mechanics and then ignored by the vast majority.

DDO is not set up for PvP, it was an afterthought that should never have been put in.

There's organized pvp?  None of these suggestions would honestly work.   DDO is pretty much fine as it is except for their belief in making you grind for 32 / 36 point characters which I still find utterly ridiculous.

Looking for any form of real PvP in this game is going to be a disappointment for anyone.

Anyone familiar with PVP and MMOs and D&D knows they don't mix well.  Its completely impossible to win at high level against any sort of caster.  They can mez, dance you, stun, then one shot blast you.  There's no way to arrange your stats and gear to account for all the different types of assaults.

I don't think it is a problem finding people for group content for the free portion of the game, the pay content is a little harder..

I would like a VIP server for everyone who has a VIP acc...But meh.
