There's was nothing like being sucked into the original cantina scene all day, every day.
Qufim - FFXI
Probably the best zone I spent mob grinding in to date. Lots of cool spots.
Tortage - AoC
A great experience that sadly put the rest of the game to shame.
New York - FoM
Was great to walk amidst the scumbaggiest cops in the game all nonchalant-like when you are a criminal. When someone finally takes notice of you, it's always a blast to stab em and then try to stay alive as long as you can. I liked the level design there too.
Bree - LotRO
I found the game boring overall, but there's something about jamming out on the lute with randoms across the face of the biggest town in the game.

Same for me, except I'll substitute Sandy for Windy and add Qufim.
Ah Qufim, that was quite a place also. With that tower that I can't remember the name of, I remember fighting all the way to the top, it was pretty epic.
Delkfutt's Tower, which is a separate zone. Actually, it is a separate three zones, Lower, Middle and Upper Delkfutt's Tower. Yep, fighting to the top of it was an experience.
And whats the name of that huge tunnel under the ocean? it wen't to the altepta deserts (sp?)
Korroloka Tunnel. The worms make for good levelling. The fun part is that the maps for it and the Altepa Desert are only available in Rabao, meaning you have to make it across without a map to get the map.

I loved the lake; it was a shame they had to put Goblin Bountyhunters on it. Before the Goblins, it was a great place to level on the worms and crabs if you knew what you were doing, and if you didn't, the Bogies would slaughter you all come nightfall.
Areas like Qeynos, Qeynos hills, Blackburrow, Western Karana in EQ. In WoW something like the Deadmines, or SH was quite good. Unguru crater was okay as a zone. In Everquest 2 I did quite like parts of Freeport. An undead zone was quite good too. Asheron's Call 2- I liked the starting areas, nice well done terrain. Seemingly didn't stretch that art appeal to it's islands if I remember.

The Cathedral and waterfall on the Vesayen Isles in Asheron's Call 1.
Ithaenc I think I remember it being called.
Dunno why but that place always stuck with me.
*edit*
Because "the" is difficult to spel gud.
Einherjar_LC says: WTB the true successor to UO or Asheron's Call pst!

My three favorite areas in no particular order...
Asherson's Call 2: The Beach
Age of Conan: Fields of the Dead
Lotro: The Shire
EQ1: Blackburrow - the birth of my passion to crawl into dungeons. The Dungeon where everything began....
EVE: Orvolle - I dont know why, but it is a special place in EVE.
WOW: Loch Modan
