Jobs to take to get to Blue Mage/Ninja

Ok so this weekend,  was gonna resub to FFXI, my favorite mmo. Sadly though, I cant remember my account info. Im not really bumbed out because when I rejoin mmos I like starting fresh, so, Ill just buy the ultimate collection this weekend. Anyways, so last time I played, I was working to be a Blue Mage as my primary job, and Ninja as secondary, but I had to cancil my sub for reasons Im not gonna get into detail about. So my question is, what starting job should I do, and what jobs should I level first, so I can get to be a Blue Mage/Ninja faster. Because I know If I want to second Ninja, ill have to get it to level 75, which means id have to second warrior for that most likely, but you know, im not sure, what do you guys reccomend I do?

I would actually start as Mnk take it to 15 then work on War and take it to 30. Mnk is an good tank sub for the lower lvl's and tanks aren't as plentiful as the other roles.

of course I would work on thf, not only is it one of the subs used for blu in different situations but it's also fairly key to farming that gil your gonna need.

 

Those 3 jobs should get you a nice start on your road to Blu/Nin

I would level monk to lvl 15 then level thief to 30 with mnk sub.  Then level ninja to 35 with thief subbed.  Those three jobs share lots of low lvl gears o you can save lots of money.  warrior is nice too but I would do that the last.  Ninja without blink cannot really tank much.  So I would go with dps instead.  Blue mage at lower level is better with mnk or thief subbed.  To be honest, at sub lvl 40, blue/theif is better.  That is how I did it.  Ninja sub started to be better after lvl 60.

I would go this route Mnk to 15 War to 30 and thf somewhere in between.
